		<description>Thanks for writing this. It gives me hope. I&#039;m also looking at the alternative distro channels. I just made my first &quot;proper&quot; release, had 100 CD&#039;s made and hand numbered them, and put it up on iTunes &amp; Amazon. I&#039;ve sold a few CDs online so far, and i&#039;m hoping to see the results from the mp3 stores soon. all told, with mastering, CDs and Tunecore, I have about $700 into this release. I&#039;m not looking to make any of this money back, just for more listeners at this point. Luckily I have a pretty nice day job that makes this possible.</description>
