"U.S" and his percussion ensemble had performed in Madison 3 years ago. Some musical updates: Look out for Prasanna, Karthick and Poongulam Subramanian at Madison's World Music Festival (Sept 12 I think). Prasanna is based in Boston and plays Carnatic music on the electric guitar. Karthick plays the ghatam and Poongulam plays mridangam......AMAZING is the only word to describe them!
