That is all.

Chips fly ’round to the sound of the latest chart entry

AMDM is actually charting in a few places.

Not huge places – we’re not on the Billboard hot100 yet, but hey, it’s a start.

We’re number 11 with a bullet on the Side-Line charts, and #8 on ADD’s top 10.

I just have to say

Elemental Audio’s Firium is the most bitchin EQ ever. Aside from the fact that it’s virtually transparent, sonically, the learn/compare function is startlingly useful. I was having issues with a mix sounding realy dull, and I couldn’t figure out why…I compared the EQ analysis with Oakenfold’s “Southern Sun” and realized that I had boosted the high-mids – but not nearly enough.

A little tweaking and voila. Suddenly my mix is bright and punchy.

Love Firium. Love it.

Promotional Barrage

Well.

A Million Different Moments is out. It’s already gotten some good press and some good buzz, and that’s awesome. Last monday I sat down with Dr. Ryan Parks on Madison Community Radio WORT, which is always fun, since he’s such an enthusiastic guy. We talked about all manner of things, from the new album to why Richard Humpty Vission is an underrated DJ.

Good times.

Inferno hosted a release party, and that went well also. Gave away three signed copies of the CD, sold a box-load, played a bunch of fun tracks as part of a DJ set, completely deprived myself of sleep…it’s much fun.

I would like to note that “Mundian To Bach Ke” mixes startlingly well into Stromkern. And this was probably the only time I’ve ever seen Panjabi MC fill the floor. This was also the first set in a while that lacked a dM, BT or Tarkan track.

I decided I needed to do a little “quasi-retro” set in the middle there. EBM classics from the days before Futurepop, back when everyone thought Haujobb was going to be the Next Big Thing.

Apologies to Seth for stealing 5 of his minutes to play “Welcome to My Mind.”
