Null Device and Assemblage23 – Recap

Quite the excellent night last night.

First, it was great having Eric G in town for the show.

Second, I think the show came off quite well. Dan Clark is an animal onstage. The band enjoyed themselves, the crowd seemed to enjoy themselves, and that’s what this is all about, right?

I was worried for a while that Dan was going to rip his pants or blow a knee doing his jumping and leaping around the stage, but luckily that didn’t happen.

A23 are really nice guys. Well, Fritter’s not a guy, but she’s really nice anyway.

Thanks to J. Ned Stromkirby for running sound under less-than-perfect conditions. And Adam Wiesenfarth for doing technical stuff even though we weren’t paying him.

Great turnout, and I’m very tired today.
